Last night, before a full house, An Ode To No One's designer, Adi Setiadi made his MBFWA debut. After emigrating to Australia from Indonesia, Setiadi completed a degree in commerce and finance but decided to quit his job in banking for a life of fashion - and boy, are we glad he did.
Inspired by the symmetry of architecture, Art Deco buildings and graphic design, An Ode To No One's palette conveyed washes of pastel pink, peach and cool grey, juxtaposed with bright orange, cobalt blue and black.
To compliment the designs, Nigel Stanislaus, Maybelline NY Makeup Director created a polished look on models focusing on contouring and bold brows. "This beauty look using Maybelline NY Color Sensational Lip Color in Totally Toffee to contour the cheekbones plays on the structured and tailored pieces and really allows the clothes to pop," said Stanislaus.
