Kate Middleton has stepped out without her husband Prince William, for the very first time since becoming the Duchess of Cambridge in April last year.
Wearing a double-breasted grey coat cinched at the waist and black pumps, the Duchess attended a preview of Lucian Freud paintings at the National Portrait Gallery in London.
Over the weekend Prince William prepared for a six-week deployment with the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue Team, so we're thinking this could be the first of many stylishly single outings!
